Anoosh Nikkar, PA-C
Anoosh Nikkar works with Dr. Belzer. She grew up in Los Angeles and earned her undergraduate degree in biology at Loyola Marymount University. She received her graduate degree in Physician Assistant Studies at University of Southern California (USC).
Anoosh was a National Health Service Corps scholar, working in underserved communities in Massachusetts, just outside of Boston. She has worked in urgent care and family practice, but was drawn to orthopaedics. Before becoming a specialist in orthopaedics, she worked at Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles, in the pediatric neurosurgery department.
For a time, she worked as an emergency medicine technician (EMT) and in an emergency department. But her passion was always to be a physician assistant.
Her love of the outdoors brought her to northern California, where she started working for California Pacific Orthopaedics. She works with people of all ages, from professional athletes to sports enthusiasts. But there is one thing they all have in common — they are motivated to return to their regular activities and improve their lifestyle.
When she is not working, she enjoys spinning, snowboarding and hiking.
