At California Pacific Orthopaedics, we have helped our fair share of professional athletes return to their passion – whether on the track, field, court or gym. Dr. Keith Chan had the opportunity to help one extreme athlete return to the sky within just a few months of surgery. Nick, a professional paraglider, had right shoulder surgery with Dr. Chan, exactly one year ago today. For those of you that don’t know, paragliding is free-flying where the pilot is harnessed in below a fabric wing, using suspension lines and aerodynamic forces, instead of a motor, to take flight.
