Alexandra ‘Alex’ Sheperdson works alongside Dr. James Kelly and Dr. Mark Schrumpf caring for patients in the clinic and assisting in surgery. Her clinical scope includes conservative treatment of both acute and chronic injuries as well as pre-operative and post-operative management.

She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Exercise Science. Upon graduation, Alex pursued a career as a Business Analytics consultant for several years before her interest and passion for medicine brought her back to the healthcare field. She then worked as a Medical Assistant at California Pacific Orthopedics before attending PA school. She received her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies degree from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Boston. After graduation, Alex rejoined our practice as a Physician Assistant.

Alex grew up in the East Bay and moved to San Francisco in 2013. In her free time, she enjoys taking long walks with her dog, spending time with her family, and exploring new restaurants.
