Benna Ames works alongside Dr. Philip Kaiser and Dr. Keith Donatto. She provides comprehensive patient care in both clinical and surgical settings, with a focus on conservative management of acute and chronic foot and ankle injuries, as well as pre- and post-operative care.

Benna earned her Bachelor of Arts in Human Health from Emory University, where she was a student-athlete on the women’s basketball team. Following graduation, she worked as an inpatient phlebotomist during the COVID pandemic while preparing for PA school. In 2025, she completed her training at Touro University California, earning dual Master’s degrees in Physician Assistant Studies and Public Health.

Originally from Michigan, Benna moved to San Francisco in 2022. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active through weightlifting, yoga, and hiking in nature. She also loves cooking, gardening, and playing with her cats.
