Dr. Hector Osoria is a board-certified Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physician with subspecialty certification in Sports Medicine. He specializes in the non-surgical treatment of musculoskeletal injuries, with a focus on helping patients return to peak performance and function safely and efficiently. He completed his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science at Rutgers University, prior to earning his M.D. from Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City. Dr. Osoria completed his residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Harvard Medical School, then returned to New Jersey to complete his fellowship training in Sports Medicine at the Atlantic Health System. During his training and early career he has covered all levels of athletics from high school to high profile teams and events including in the NFL, Division I basketball and soccer, PWHL, Indoor Football League, and professional boxing, MMA and muay thai.

His training emphasized advanced musculoskeletal care, non-surgical orthopedics, and the use of minimally invasive, image-guided interventions. Dr. Osoria’s clinical approach emphasizes functional restoration and optimization, evidence-based treatment, and individualized care plans tailored to each patient’s goals. He has particular expertise in treating athletes and active individuals with acute and chronic orthopedic conditions.

Outside of work, Dr. Osoria is a passionate New York sports fan, purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, former wrestler, intermittent marathoner, and skier.
