Justin works alongside Dr. Ignatius and Dr. Valone as part of an interdisciplinary team. His scope includes treating both acute and chronic conditions and helping patients return to the activities they enjoy doing.
>He received his Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from University of California at Riverside in 2010. While in school, he worked as an EMT and later as an Emergency Department Technician at the busiest emergency department in San Diego for 2 years.
Justin attended Duke University’s Physician Assistant Program and received his certificate in Physician Assistant Studies in 2021. While at Duke, he completed a clinical rotation in orthopedics and found it fascinating to assist patients in returning to the activities and sports they enjoy most. Being able to make an impact on patients’ lives motivated him to pursue a career in orthopedics.
Justin was born and raised in San Diego and is the eldest of three boys. In his spare time, he enjoys camping, mountain biking and playing in various sports leagues on the weekends.
