Katie Ziesing is the “house” physician assistant for our San Rafael office, and helps care for patients with a variety of orthopedic issues involving both acute injuries and chronic problems.

She provides patients with conservative treatment options, including physical therapy, home exercise programs, bracing, and medication. She also works with patients post-operatively to help facilitate the rehabilitation process and returning to normal activities.

Katie grew up in both Truckee and Sacramento, CA and earned her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. She received her graduate degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Marist College in New York.

Prior to joining CPO, Katie gained work experience in orthopedics, emergency medicine, and surgery. In her spare time, Katie enjoys all outdoor activities, including hiking, camping, biking, and skiing.
